Privacy Policy
At GB Tech Studio, we believe software should respect your privacy. Our applications are engineered to process data locally on your device with complete transparency and zero unauthorized data selling.
1. Introduction
Welcome to the official Privacy Policy of GB Tech Studio ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications, software tools, and digital services published under our Google Play Developer account (Growing Bangla Tech Studio).
By downloading, installing, or using any GB Tech Studio application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We are committed to building fast, clean, and reliable utility software that prioritizes user confidentiality.
2. Information We Collect
We operate under a strict data minimization principle. The vast majority of our apps do not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
- Non-Personal Technical Data: When using our apps, standard non-identifying technical data such as device model, OS version, screen resolution, language preference, and anonymous performance logs may be automatically gathered by Google Play Services for stability analytics.
- User-Generated Files & Content: Documents, photos, scanned QR codes, audio files, status videos, and converted files processed by our apps remain exclusively on your device storage. We do not upload your media or files to any external server.
- Support Communications: If you contact us via email for customer support or bug reports, we receive your email address and any details you choose to share. This information is used strictly to assist you and resolve technical issues.
3. Android Permissions & SAF
Our applications request runtime Android system permissions only when necessary to perform requested utility functions.
- Storage & Media Access (Photos/Videos): Used by apps like BR Image to PDF, BR Photo Resizer, and BR Status Saver to read selected files for processing and save converted outputs back to your Gallery using Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF) and MediaStore APIs.
- Camera Permission: Required by QR-ScanX for live optical scanning of QR codes and barcodes, and by Noti-Alert to operate camera LED flash notifications. Camera frames are analyzed in real-time memory and never recorded or transmitted.
- Location Permission: Required by Speed-Go solely because modern Android system APIs require location authorization to read Wi-Fi network names (SSID) for network diagnostics. We do not track or log your physical GPS coordinates.
- Notification Access: Used by Noti-Alert to detect incoming notifications and trigger LED flash patterns. Notification content is never read, stored, or exported.
4. Third-Party Services
Our apps utilize Google's standard developer infrastructure to ensure secure distribution, crash diagnostics, and core operating system support.
Third-party service providers bound by their respective privacy policies include:
5. Advertising & Analytics
To keep our core utility applications free to download, some apps may display non-intrusive advertisements served by official Google AdMob networks.
- Ad networks may use randomized, reset-able Advertising Identifiers (AAID) provided by Android OS to deliver non-intrusive ad banners.
- You can reset or disable personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings via
Settings > Google > Ads. - We strictly prohibit popups, deceptive dark patterns, or intrusive full-screen interstitials during critical task workflows.
6. Data Security & Storage
We implement industry-standard technical measures to safeguard user data:
- Local Encryption: Apps like BR Image to PDF allow users to apply 128-bit AES password encryption to created PDF documents.
- Zero Cloud Databases: We do not host remote databases containing user files or personal records. All data remains stored in your device's isolated application storage or system MediaStore.
7. Children's Privacy
Our utility applications are intended for a general audience and are not directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove such data from our records.
